How to add a mid-term test mark column to the QMplus gradebook

Log in to QMplus, go to your module page and in the SETTINGS menu click on Grades.

You should see a column headed "Mid-term test", but if not then you need to add it, as follows:

1. In the SETTINGS menu, click on the Setup sub-menu to expand it and then click on "Categories and items".
2. Click on the ADD GRADE ITEM button, enter the Item name "Mid-term test", optionally click on the Hidden check box to hide the grades until you are ready to release them to students, and then click on the SAVE CHANGES button.
3. In the Setup sub-menu, click on "Course grade settings".
   1. In the OVERVIEW REPORT section:
      1. Set "Show rank" to Show.
   2. In the USER REPORT section:
      1. Set "Show rank" to Show.
      2. Set "Show feedback" to Hide (unless you intend to show feedback comments to your students).
      3. Set "Show weightings" to Hide.
      4. Set "Show contribution to course total" to Hide.
