Coursework (3 tests): 50 % of final grade

Coursework

The overall coursework mark will be based on results from 3 tests. 

• Assessment 1: online test in week 7 on topics covered in weeks 1 – 5 of Semester 1. 

The outcome of the test 1 will contribute 10% to your final grade. 

• Assessment 2: online test in week 1 of Semester 2 on topics covered in weeks 6 – 12 of Semester 1.

The outcome of the test 2 will contribute 20% to your final grade. 

• Assessment 3: online test in week 7 of Semester 2 on topics covered in weeks 1 – 5 of Semester 2. 

The outcome of the test 3 will contribute 20% to your final grade. 

 These three assessments are scheduled only once and cannot be rescheduled. Any student who fails to attend an assessment (and who does not have a valid reason for applying for exemption due to extenuating circumstances) will be awarded 0 marks. 

Examination

• Exam will be scheduled in May/June and will cover the content of the whole module (from Semesters 1 and 2).

All midterm Assessments and Final Exam in 2025 will be in person, further details related to Final in person Exams will be updated in due time.

Exams and grades are scrutinised for fairness by a team of independent external examiners.
