How to submit an assignment?
Please do the following to submit your assignment:
1- Click on “Assessment” in the top bar.
2- Select the assessment point that you want to work with and click on it. You will see the basic information about this assessment point, such as the date it opens and closes, the remaining time, the submission status and the time limit if there is one.
3- Click on Begin assignment. Once you do that, a message will appear to confirm that you are about to begin your assignment, and the time limit:
4- Once you begin the assignment, you will see the activity instructions (if they were added to the assignment) and the time left - make sure to leave at least 15 minutes to upload and submit your work.
5- To upload the submission, click on the file picker area:
6- Click inside this area, and the file picker window will open to help you select the file from your device:
7- Select your file and upload it by clicking on Upload this file, the following window will appear to show you that the file is uploaded, click on save changes.
8- When you click on Save changes, the next window will appear. Please note that at this stage, you might receive an email from Turnitin informing you that a file has been uploaded for processing. This email does not mean that the assignment itself has been submitted on QMplus. If you check the window, you will see three buttons: “Submit assignment”, “Edit assignment” and “Remove assignment”. The submission status will be set to Draft (not submitted).
9- To submit the assignment, please click on Submit assignment. A confirmation dialogue will appear, please confirm by clicking on the check box and “Continue”.
10- Then your assignment will be submitted. If you check the status of the assignment, you will see: “Submitted for grading”.
Congratulations, your assignment has now been submitted.
