qNomics is a free financial guidance centre for tech start-ups and entrepreneurs provided by students from the School of Economics and Finance, Queen Mary University of London, under the supervision of qualified practitioners.

Overall, qNomics offers students different ways to enrich their knowledge and practical experience. We invite you to join one of the programmes, we run under qNomics banner.

Client Advisory - You will have the opportunity to advise clients directly by running advice sessions. (Open for 3Y UG +PG)

Design Thinking and Data Analysis Project - Unique project designed to give you the latest knowledge on how to apply user experience to economics to improve business practices. The students will work in groups and with a local charity to support them in identifying how best they can meet the needs of their (Open for 2Y UG)

Data Analysis and Lease Legal Clauses -This is an interdisciplinary project within qNomics jointly collaborated with qLegal. Students will have the opportunity to review sustainable lease clauses and perform quantitative analysis to look for behaviour patterns.They will then present insights to a leading sustainable investment firm and provide insights on client behavior. (Open for 1Y UG)

In addition, you must possess:

Strong willingness to learn: to broaden your horizons on relevant aspects.

Adequate research skills: to fill gaps in knowledge.

Good communication skills: to liaise with the client, supervisor, and group members.

Organisation skills: to produce a good quality of work in the timeframe provided.

Engaged: willing to participate and remain active in the programme to get the best out of the programme
