Physically disabled students

Physically disabled students, which will include students using a wheelchair, often require someone to push their wheelchair or facilitate their movement around campus by opening heavy doors while they pass through.

Similarly, some students with impaired mobility, for example those with some sort of brain injury which affects their gross motor movement (e.g. cerebral palsy) might be able to walk unaided but may require some support in accessing particular rooms owing to the presence of heavy fire doors.
