General Information
· Please be aware that when intending to interrupt, withdraw or change programme it is important that the required form be completed accurately.
· Please make sure to sign the required documents and submit them to the Educational Development Team.
· Once a change of circumstance request has been processed, an automated email will be sent to your institution & personal email addresses. This will confirm that the change has been processed and re-affirm the last date of attendance you supplied when submitting your form.
· Should the Records team have queries regarding the information listed on any form you have submitted, they will contact the Educational Development Team.
Last Date of Attendance
· An interruption or withdrawal of studies will require participants to provide a last date of attendance, this is the last date you attended a lecture/seminar for your course.
Interruption of Studies
· An interruption of studies will require participants to provide an expected return date. Please be aware that Interruption of Study Policy does not permit students/participants to interrupt and return within the same academic year. (http://www.arcs.qmul.ac.uk/media/arcs/policyzone/academic/Interruption-of-Study-Policy.pdf)
· For e.g. the academic year runs from mid-September to the end of May, therefore you would not be able to interrupt your studies from September to January of the same academic year.
Change of Programme
· Please note if you wish to change programme from the Certificate in Learning and Teaching (CILT) to the PGCAP, then you will need to complete a change of programme form.
· Please note that you are unable to change programme after the Subject Examination Board has awarded you the Certificate in Learning and Teaching. Participants will need to make a new application through admissions for the PGCAP.
