Aim: Reflect on your unique skills and experience

Learning to self market yourself well involves reflection on what makes you unique. Your application is your first impression with a prospective employer. Your application and CV provide an opportunity to tell your story highlighting your skills and strengths.

Step 1: Self Evaluate. Take a moment to reflect on your unique skills, strengths, values and passions.

Step 2:Tell a Story. Note down four qualities or skills that make you stand out. How did you develop those qualities? What were the experiences that helped you develop these qualities. Tell your story in a short forum message.

Step 3: Share and Discuss. Post your story to the forum and comment on the posts of your fellow students.
