Good points:
Various specific and interesting topics are chosen, covering almost all the areas of renewable energies and technologies in this module; Comprehensive to critical reviews are performed, citing a large number of references; Wider range of knowledge and deeper understanding of fundamentals and engineering applications are shown;
Good modelling and simulations are performed – some are complicated and some are relatively simple; Results are well presented and discussed; Some reports are well written and easy to follow;
It shows time and effort putting into the CW and demonstrates ability to conduct research project independently.
Points to improve:
Writing skills need improvements. This includes the layout of the report, equations, tables, graphs and references. How to professionally present these was specifically discussed in details in lectures but it seems that there are no improvements in many CW reports.
