Looking to improve your mental health, get some fresh air, and meet new people?
Join Walking Mensdays – a new initiative by the Advice and Counselling Service to support men’s wellbeing through the simple power of walking and talking.
It offers the opportunity to connect with yourself, fellow students and to explore the local area, come rain or shine! The walk itself may involve some simple guided meditation techniques and lasts approx. 45 mins. This will be followed by a reflective space with opportunities to pause, reflect and discuss topics relevant to men’s mental health in a safe and confidential way. Please note, this is not a traditional therapeutic group.
The course will run weekly every Wednesday afternoon for 6 weeks starting on Wednesday 29th October 2025 to Wednesday 10th December 2025 inclusive with a break on Wednesday 19th November.
