Next week's sessions / module experience survey

Dear tragedizers,

Firstly. many thanks to those of you who contributed to a really useful seminar discussion yesterday. We were able not only to share knowledge of some important secondary sources on Blood Wedding,  but also to make connections between the authors' perspectives and wider issues involving tragedy.

To repeat what I mentioned yesterday - no advance preparation is needed for next week's sessions. The first of these will be a workshop in which you'll practise planning essays on comparative topics. The second will be devoted to academic writing, and will have more of a lecture format. My experience suggests that these are areas where students often have scope to improve, so you should be able to achieve some quick (and big) wins in the runup to your second assignment.

Finally, if you haven't yet completed the module experience survey, I'd be really grateful if you did. As I mentioned in last week's lecture, these surveys are taken very seriously in curriculum planning. Four of you have taken the survey so far - thank you! - and it would be very helpful to have as many responses as possible. You'll be getting endless automated reminders about this, so I'm sure I don't need to tell you (but I'll tell you anyway) that you'll find a link for each module survey on your QMplus homepage, and in the QMUL app. You can also access the survey portal here

Best wishes,

Adrian
