Dear tragedizers,

As promised, here are the tasks for the seminar next Thursday (3 April). Please read the article indicated, in advance of the session, and make notes to summarize its argument (briefly) and comment on what you think are its strengths and weaknesses:

Andrew A. Anderson, 'Garcia Lorca's Bodas de sangre...' - Hana, Keira, Aqsa

Felicity Rosslyn, 'Lorca and Greek Tragedy' [NB this deals with other material as well as Blood Wedding - you don't need to read the material on the other plays] - Masha, Dorra, Max, Muna

Eva K. Touster, 'Thematic Patterns...' - Nia, Cameron, Malina, Levi

All articles are available via the reading list, where the sources in each section are listed in alphabetical order of authors' surnames.

You'll have a few minutes at the beginning of the session to confer as a group, and agree on a summary and an outline of strengths/weaknesses. You'll then report on the article to the rest of the class.

See you on Monday for the final structured discussion - for details, see this announcement. The briefs for each team are here

Best wishes,

Adrian
