Good afternoon SBM Students

Welcome back and welcome to all who have just arrived this year. We are looking forward to working with you all.

We have now opened the opportunity for students wishing to apply for the position of SBM Student Ambassador for this academic year (2024 – 2025).

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The School of Business and Management is keen to give its students as many opportunities as possible. We work hard to raise aspirations and expand the recruitment of students/international students who are currently under-represented in higher education. We are looking for Undergrad, Postgrad/ PhD students to help with events as well as ad-hoc administrative jobs to help run the school sufficiently.

You will also work with young people on school visits, do campus tours, facilitate workshops, and more. There are also opportunities to facilitate other activities around the university.

Training will be provided, and you will gain valuable skills in planning events and creating content for our social platforms. If applied to your CV, this experience will also benefit job searching in the future. Networking with external clients, speakers, and academics is also a key benefit.

Student Ambassadors are paid £14.52 per hour and have shift opportunities on an ad-hoc basis. Before applying, please read the attached job description thoroughly.
