24th April 10am-12pm online; this session is for finalists, and is lead by our Graduate Coach Michelle Taylor. If you’re feeling underprepared to take the leap after you finish your studies, and/or comparing yourself negatively to those around you, this workshop is for you. Opportunities:
Communications assistant work placement – 6 months fixed-term – with White Cube Gallery
Get experience in one of the world’s most famous contemporary art galleries, working in the communications department across press, marketing, and digital. Closing date 18/04/24, more info here:
Junior Press Officer at The Law Society
This is a permanent role, so best suited to a finalist or graduate. You’d be working in the press office team, handling enquiries from the media, briefing journalists, and creating content. Find out more here:
Junior Content Editor (12 month maternity cover) – Jamie Oliver Group

Production Assistant at Creative Crawley

Student Careers Ambassadors – we want SED student candidates!
Are you interested in a part time role on campus to fit alongside your studies in the 2024-2025 academic year? Then consider becoming a Student Careers Ambassador to increase student engagement with the Careers and Enterprise service at Queen Mary University of London.
We are particularly looking to receive applicants from students within your school to ensure our Careers Ambassadors are representative of different parts of the Queen Mary community and can engage those who may have typically not made use of the service before.
Why become a Student Careers Ambassador?
- Gain work experience to include on your CV and in future applications.
- Build your confidence by supporting events and speaking to fellow students.
- Contribute your ideas to improve how the service supports Students and Graduates
- Increase your connections across the university community and externally with employers and Queen Mary alumni.
About the role
This paid role is
exclusively available to Queen Mary students where you will act as an
ambassador to promote the Careers and Enterprise service through different
activities.
The role is
part-time, flexible, and largely on-campus, designed to fit around your study
commitments. The role will be 10 hours per week on average for 30 weeks
throughout the academic terms.
You’ll also have
the opportunity to attend a national conference to connect with other Student
Careers staff from different UK universities in November 2024.
