Dear all,

Happy Eid to all those who are celebrating the end of the holy month of Ramadan!

As you may know, this week marks the end of Semester 2 (and teaching).

The seminars and lecture for POL361 will run as normal, but there are a couple additional activities scheduled on Friday, 12 April:

  • An AS3 planning session on Friday, 12 April, at 4pm in Bancroft 3.40 (for students who couldn’t come to the session on Thursday, 28 March).
  • Social Event at 6pm in THE BLOC (ArtsOne building): a screening of the 2007 animated film, Persepolis, based on Satrapi's graphic novel about her life in pre and post-revolutionary Iran and then in Europe. I will bring popcorn and drinks. There are plenty of seats, so feel free to bring friends!

A few additional reminders:

In terms of your assignments, grades and feedback for AS2 will be released by the end of Wednesday, 17 April.

The deadline for your third and final assignment for this module is on Tuesday, 23 April at 1pm

Your tutors (Meena and Miranda) will hold their last Advice and Feedback sessions this week, so do make use of these if you want to schedule a meeting in person to discuss plans for AS3. From Monday, 15 April, until the final assignment deadline, they will only be answering emails and scheduling online meetings, if needed.

As for myself, I’m always happy to answer any questions by email. I’ll also be around on Monday the 15th if you want to meet in person. After that date, I can schedule meetings online.

See you on Friday,

Alaya
