Hi there!
Welcome to the new academic year - I hope you're having a great time so far.
The start of the academic year might seem like a strange time to start thinking about careers, but I would encourage you to spend time, little and often, thinking about what you have achieved to date and what things you might like to pursue in the future. I and the rest of the Careers and Enterprise team are here to support you in exploring and building that future, whatever form you would like it to take. You can find out more about our services and support via our website www.qmul.ac.uk/careers, with links to take you to our programmes (such as the Student Consultancy Project, QMentoring, QTaster, and Micro Internships); our QTemps recruitment agency for part time work in and around campus; our amazing support for freelancing and business from the Enterprise team; and information, jobs listings, events, and much more on Careers Hub.
I have guidance appointments available exclusively for SED students online every Wednesday - you can talk to me about anything related to work and careers in a confidential and relaxed setting. Find availability and book an appointment via Careers Hub: https://qmul.targetconnect.net.
There are opportunities and experiences already waiting for you to explore - take a look at the very quick list below to get started!
Best,
Fliss
