Hi there!

I hope you are having a great summer break. A quick update from me with some events and opportunities.

On Thursday 3rd August is our Virtual Careers Fair, best suited to graduates, finalists, and postgraduate students, an excellent way to talk to different employers (all of whom have live job opportunities) and gain an understanding of what their companies and roles entail. For more details and to book a space, follow this link: https://qmul.targetconnect.net/leap/event.html?id=11389&service=Careers%20Service

Ahead of the event, we have a Prepare for the Fair session, which can help you understand how the technology will work, what to expect, and tips on engaging with employers. That is taking place online on  Wednesday 2nd August 12-1pm. Sign up for a space by following this link: https://qmul.targetconnect.net/leap/event.html?id=11975&service=Careers%20Service

Within the Careers and Enterprise team we have six Careers Student Ambassador roles available, with a deadline of 3rd August. This is a part-time, flexible, on-campus role for current Queen Mary’s students to help increase student engagement with the Careers and Enterprise Service.  For more information and to apply, follow this link: https://qmul.targetconnect.net/leap/jobs.html?id=169970&service=Careers%20Service

Fancy paid business experience with a global publisher? Gale, an international publisher of digital archives and other library resources, is looking to recruit a campus Ambassador to help raise awareness of the fascinating digital archives (such as historical archives of The Times, The Telegraph, and The Economist, among others) available Queen Mary. Find out more information and apply (before the deadline of 13th August) by following this link: https://qmul.targetconnect.net/leap/jobs.html?id=168055&service=Careers%20Service

Finally, the Student Consultancy Project is open for applications until 25th September 2023. The Student Consultancy Project Autumn 2023 offers you the opportunity to collaborate in a team and tackle a real-life business challenge. Whilst on the programme, you will benefit from training, coaching and the opportunity to interact with a business who will act as your client. It is a great programme; find out more information and apply by following this link: https://qmul.targetconnect.net/leap/jobs.html?id=170004&service=Careers%20Service

This is just a snapshot of what is available at the moment on QM CareersHub (qmul.targetconnect.net).
