Did you know almost 10% of UK QMUL graduates told us that their job 15 months after graduating involved teaching, tutoring or another form of learning activity.
(231 out of 2400 Students that told us their occupation in the Graduate outcomes survey 2022 related to teaching, tutoring or learning)
This virtual workshop will look at the different options from doing a PGCE, Teach First or Training in a school
The Careers Consultant event is for people who are considering Teaching as a possible career option or something they would like to find out more about. There'll be lots of chances to ask questions and think through if teaching could be a good next choice for you.
The workshop will cover:

- University centred (Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Schools Centred (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) SCITT, Schools Direct
- Further paid opportunities (Teach First) Apprenticeships
- Funding: Government Bursaries
- How to apply

- Question and answer session
