SLLF Finalists’ Writing Workshop

The marks of the final year are crucial to the overall success of your degree. To support finalists, we offer tutoring and guidance in the writing and completion of assessments in the form of a writing workshop. You’re invited to take part in four days of support in developing a piece of your assessed work, interspersed with social activities and a final day celebration.
We encourage you to register for the entire event, although you may choose to attend on specific days or drop in as you see fit.
The workshop begins with a welcome/induction day, followed by core writing sessions (days 2-4), and party to mark the end of the event. Over the course of a “writing journey” from day 1 to 4, students are invited to share their experiences within and across departments. If you can’t make your subject-specific day, that’s OK—tutors from a variety of subject areas will be on hand to assist you.
