Hi everyone,
This Wednesday's PASS session is targeted towards finishing your work for final assignment submission and practicing oral skills for language exams.
- break down assignment briefs
- plan and prep your essays/assignments
- incorporate feedback from earlier assignments
- support you with research and check your referencing
- proofread and constructively edit partial or full essay drafts on aspects such as structure, thesis statements, and spelling/grammar
- practice your language skills with a conversation partner who is an older student from your degree
- discuss topic-specific vocabulary
- use practice questions and prompts
Join us on Wednesday at 1-2PM on Blackboard Collaborate. This is a drop-in hour, so please come at whatever time suits you. We can also provide individual 1:1 sessions at a time to suit you; please get in contact (email below) if this is the case.
We will have mentors from Comparative Literature, Russian, English Language and Linguistics, German, and French at your disposal. If you would like support for Film and Spanish, send me an email and I will sort it out for you: c.briggs@hss18.qmul.ac.uk
The final two PASS sessions will be 21st April and 5 May.
