The Bart’s academic research society have an upcoming event which some of you may have already heard of. It’s an interactive workshop designed to get students prepared for critical appraisals, and is on the 1st of December at 7pm. It is run by a team of seven doctors including Academic Foundation Trainees. This event is open to everyone, but especially for Bart’s second year students, as it helps the PBL write ups. These workshops give you a chance to learn how to write a good essay and get a good grade in your paper A this year!
We welcome especially all Barts second-year students to take part, since this year one of the PBL write-ups, now so-called 'essays' from HSPH/LOCO/Cancer, is a critical appraisal. We hope that during those workshops you will have a chance to learn how to write a good essay and get a good grade in your paper A this year! Certificates of attendance will be provided for your portfolios
It is for sub-paying members of the society, and is first come first serve (so there are limited spaces!)
