If you decide to apply for medical school and require a reference, your personal tutor is best placed to provide you with one. They will have spent more time with you over the course of your program and thus will have a better sense of your strengths and commitment, etc.
If you require a signature from either the Program Director or the Head of Unit, these can be arranged separately via your personal tutor.
