Dear Student

Please respond to this short survey by 9 October at 4pm, asking you to confirm your intentions about going abroad on exchange during 2021/22.

If you are holding an offer for a host institution through a bespoke agreement signed exclusively with your academic school (such as Global Law students) and are considering declining that offer and intend to complete the entire application process again in the hopes of going somewhere else, we strongly advise you to first contact your academic department to discuss, as your eligibility for School-specific exchange destinations may be affected.

If you were unable to attend one of the meetings for students deferring their offers to 2021/22 last week (23 and 24 September), please consult the attached short presentation. If you wish to see what sorts of questions your fellow students asked during these meetings (as they were predominantly a Q&A), you are able to consult the questions from each meeting via the dedicated Teams channel (you’ll need to request access to the channel upon clicking the link).

For any further questions related to:

  • Your academic eligibility or destination availability for School-specific agreements: please contact your academic school;
  • Finances or immigration: please contact the Advice and Counselling Service; and
  • Outbound mobility in general, overall destination availability or the centralised application process: please contact our office at goabroad@qmul.ac.uk

We look forward to receiving your survey response.

Best regards
