Join us as we hear from Charityworks, the organisation behind a 12-month graduate scheme which gives you all the tools you need to build a career in the UK non-profit sector. Through their graduate programme you'll build experience of the sector, gain an understanding of the key issues, and have access to a national network dedicated to making a difference. The work carried out by public sector workers impacts our day-to-day lives, and public service jobs span a huge range of careers - from central and local government jobs, to those in teaching, health and social work, mental health and the police force. During this event we will hear from a selection of employers offering graduate schemes and opportunities to you, and you will be able to network with a range of recruiters from the public sector. Do you want to build a business or social enterprise in a weekend?
On 23rd – 25th November, Gradventure will be hosting the first VentureHack at Queen Mary University of London -
a 3 day event where students from seven University of London colleges will come together to build a start-up from scratch in a weekend.
The competition is open to all ambitious QMUL students who would like to find out what it takes to start a business.
Who is the event for?
- Are you passionate about entrepreneurship and have an idea that can solve a social, economic or environmental issue?
- Are you a student or recent QMUL graduate interested in being mentored by industry experts and business advisers?
- Do you want to get hands on and learn by doing about business design, market research and developing a prototype?
