Please see information below and attached flyer for the festival of Public Health UK 2013, taking place on Thursday 4th July 2013.
The festival will include lectures from Sir Liam Donaldson (Chief Medical Officer for England, 1998-2010) Professor David Colquhoun (Creator, DC’s Improbable Science), Professor Tony Redmond (Chair, Foreign Medical Teams Working Group, World Health Organisation), Alexia Tonnel (Director of Evidence Resources at the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) and Professor Ian Jacobs (Dean of the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences, University of Manchester).

The winner of the prize for the best poster and the best oral presentation will win a GUARANTEED presentation at the 11th International Conference on Urban Health, due to be held in Manchester in March 2014. The prize includes the registration fee (worth up to £500) and as part of the prize your abstract would be published in the Journal of Urban Health, produced by the New York Academy of Medicine. This will be a great opportunity for delegates to get something extra into their portfolio.
The conference will cost £40 full price and £20 concession at the early bird rate (until April 30th)
