QProjects: DEADLINE EXTENDED: The National Trust are offering one Queen Mary student an exclusive part-time work experience placement (voluntary) in the Digital Media team of its newest property, Rainham Hall.

N.B.  There are many other great QProjects available at the moment, all of which will add fantastic transferable skills to your CV.  Most QProjects require a commitment of 1 day a week for 3 months.  Voluntary work experience is just as effective as paid experience on your CV.

EVENT: Explore a career in LAW for non-law students

This ‘Career Conversations’ event will help you to understand how to get into Law, as well as exploring some of the many different roles available as a lawyer. 

A short presentation on routes into Law specifically for non-law students, will be followed by a panel discussion exploring the career paths of invited QM alumni & guests, including quizzing them on their top tips and with plenty of time for your questions.

EVENT: Lombard Odier Asset Management Presentation, Wed 12 Oct, David Sizer Lecture Theatre, 5 - 6.30pm

This session is aimed at students who are looking to find out more about the popular area of asset management. It will look at the work of an asset management firm and give you an insight into the work, which is far beyond anything you can find online.
