Why take Performance and Community
?
- This module critically examines ideas of community. We ask: What is a community? Who is in a community? What does making cultural work with communities do/mean/look like?
- We will examine a range of materials performance projects, secondary documentation and academic writing to consider the ways in which performance projects engage with the cultural politics of making worth in, with and about communities.
