Description:

This project will focus on topological and geometric problems relevant to applications in robotics and engineering. The project may survey several recent developments of topological robotics (depending on preferences and background of the student): topology of configuration spaces of various type including configuration spaces of particles in Euclidean spaces and on graphs, configuration spaces of linkages, topology of robot motion planning problem, models of stochastic topology and some others.
