Title: Newton's Principia Mathematica
Supervisor:
Research Area: Algebra
Description:

The aim is to produce a modern translation, with simple annotation, of part of this most famous work. Newton's Latin is very simple, and the vocabulary is very limited, so reading the text is not linguistically very challenging. If anyone would prefer to tackle a classic in French or German, that could be arranged.
