Welcome
to the module Spaces of Uneven Development. We are really looking
forward to teaching and learning with you over Semester A!
The module interrogates how development geography has evolved as a discipline, discourse and practice since its inception some 50 years ago. Beginning with a set of lectures that will introduce students to mainstream and radical theorisations of development, the module will present ongoing and emerging research agendas around issues of economic restructuring, work, employment and livelihoods, gender, development finance, transnational migration, and related policy interventions.
