What is PASS?
PASS stands for Peer Assisted Study Support. This programme is run by students for students to help you overcome your daily academic struggles (and non-academic ones as well). Our mentors provide valuable support in a variety of academic fields within the scope of SBBS.
What sorts of things can we help with?
- How to approach lab reports
- Essay writing and structuring for assignments and exams
- Advice on the best resources for your chosen course
- Time management & work load
- Help with referencing
- Tips on choosing optional modules
- Exam Preparation
- General student life
- ...even just to chat!
We have mentors from every year, from a variety of SBBS courses, including:
- Biomedical Sciences
- Psychology
- Biochemistry
- Neuroscience
Anyone is allowed to attend, so if you're looking for a friendly ear or you have a burning question, why not come along? You can come and go as you please, no strings attached...AND IT'S FREE!
Session Timing:
Psychology- EVERY FRIDAY, 14.00 - 15.00
- ROOM: Graduate Center GC114
Biological Sciences
- TBC
PASS will be running in person and online this year, however, we recommend attending in person!
