  • Please see below the semester dates for 2026-27

    Please be aware that all Full Year and Semester B Associate Students must be present in London until the end of the Examination term in June.

    Most SEF modules are assessed by a written invigilated examination which takes place face to face at Queen Mary during the examination term.

    It is NOT possible for examinations to sat remotely either online or at another institution.

     

    Semester A (1)

    • Welcome Week: 14  - 18 September 2026
    • Teaching: 21 September – 11 December 2026
    • Bank holidays: 25 and 28 December 2026, 1 January 2027
    • Examinations period: 7 January – 22 January 2027. Semester A-only Associate students will sit final examinations during the last teaching week of the semester, approx. 7 –11 December 2026, and are not required to return to London in January 2027.

    Semester B (2)

    • Teaching: 25 January – 16 April 2027
    • Bank holidays: 26 and 29 March 2027
    • Examinations period: 6 May – 4 June 2027 
    • *Late Summer Resits: 2 August – 13 August 2027
