The final grade of the module is based on one assessment. This will be a 2,500 word essay. The deadline is 23rd April 2024, although you can submit the assignment earlier.

Detailed guidance for level 6 (BSc and iBSc) and level 7 (MSc students can be found here and here. We have set up a forum where you can post general questions you have about the essay here.  

There will be various opportunities for you to receive feedback on your essay plans. You'll have the opportunity to submit a one page essay plan up to two weeks before the final submission date (April 4th). These should be submitted on QMplus.

Marking and feedback: All assessment will be first marked and moderated to ensure the consistent allocation of marks. All marking is guided by the use of the  marking criteria    and  marking standards    (level 6 for iBSc students, level 7 for MSc students). Feedback and marks will be returned 15 working days from the hand in date via QM Plus.
