The module provides an introduction to the use of statistical methods in business research:

  • Data collection and analysis (secondary, survey, cross-sectional)
  • Basic statistical techniques (descriptive statistics, probability, sampling, inference, regression analysis, time series)
  • Applications of quantitative methods in international business research and econometrics
  • Use of statistical software STATA 

The course is an essential precursor to your work on the thesis element of your MSc.
