Dear students,

Welcome to PASS!

PASS is  subject-based mentoring scheme, run for students by students. It gives first-years the opportunity to discuss study-related problems and get general advice from higher-year undergraduates in their subject area.

PASS Mentors will run weekly sessions each Wednesday 1-2pm at Queen's Building 210. All first-year students can come and ask any questions related to their studies. In addition, specific topics could be covered based on student demand, including on transitioning to university, preparing for written assignments, and understanding mathematical modules.

How PASS can benefit you?

  • Helps to better understand academic content
  • Get support in approaching revision, taking notes, understanding material
  • Get guidance on solving problem sets, conducting research and writing essays

These sessions are voluntary to attend. So feel free to drop-in any time during the allocated hour of the sessions.
