Safeguarding is everyone's business
The term 'Safeguarding' has a definition in law that relates specifically to ensuring that any adult who is at risk of harm or abuse (from themselves or others), is protected from that harm.
This session is designed to enable you to understand what 'Safeguarding' is all about and who might be at risk of harm or abuse.
It will take you through some of the language and information that guides us, help you recognise situations that should trigger further action, and will signpost you to what you should do if you have any Safeguarding concerns
