The module introduces the classical theory for the stability and control of a conventional fixed-wing aircraft including both the static trim conditions and the dynamic response to symmetrical and asymmetrical control inputs and other disturbances. It provides the student with some of the analytic tools needed to contribute to the design of a safe aircraft.
