COM200 - The Scene of Reading - 2023/24

This module explores reading as a historical, cultural, and ethical practice, and reflects on the diverse ways in which the figure of the reader has been imagined in literature and film from around the world. Exploring different theories as well as practices of reading, it invites students to examine their own processes as readers of words and images, and to apply their reading skills practically as well as critically.
