Add a Recording to a QMplus Course (EchoVideo Class)

Before you begin, ensure that your QMplus site is connected to EchoVideo Q-Review. If this has not yet been completed, please set this up first.

For further guidance, refer to this guide or contact your local school learning technologist for support.

 

 
Important: You must be signed in to QMplus or EchoVideo (Q-Review) with your QMUL email address to view this guidance video.

Step 1: Gather course details (from QMplus)

Go to the relevant QMplus courseScroll to the Q-Review sectionClick the Settings tabMake a note of:
  • Course name
  • Course code
  • Section

Step 2: Find your video in EchoVideo

  1. Go to your EchoVideo Library
  2. Locate the video you want to share
  3. Click on the video to open it

Step 3: Add the video to a class

  1. Select the Publishing tab
  2. Under Added to, click Add to class
  3. Choose New class
  4. Search for your course using the details you noted
  5. Select the correct term and section
  6. Confirm the class name
  7. Leave other settings as default (in most cases)
  8. Click Done

Step 4: Check student access

To confirm the video is available:

  1. Return to the QMplus course
  2. Click the Q-Review link
  3. Check that the video appears in the course area
