Downloading the webcam.


Click on the edit pencil for video

Find the video in your My Media area and click on the edit  pencil icon to the right of the title.


Basic info about the video is visible with the media entry ID highlighted


Copy the entry ID which you will find in the information pane to the right of the video.
Go back to your My Media area by clicking on the link towards the top of the page.


The media entry id is entered into a search box, there are different download options and save as well as go to media options


Paste the media entry ID that you copied into the search box and press return to search. You should have 2 entries returned.
This is the “unified” recording
This is the webcam recording. This is the one you want to download.


Edit pencil to edit video


Click on the edit icon to the right of the webcam recording title.


Download tab selected, different download options available plus save and go to media


  1. Select the Downloads option below the video
  2. Check the boxes for the format of the file that you’ve like to download. The formats are in decreasing order of resolution. If your video is over 15 months old, the source will not be available.
  3. Click the Save button to save your changes.
  4. Click on the Go to Media link.

To download an actual video:

Ellipses (...) beneath a video

Download button within a video with the available video type visible.


  • Click on the three dots or ellipses (...)
  •  Select downloads.
  • This shows the available option to download the video.
  • Go back and remove the download option if you want to be sure no one else can download a copy of the file.


You can go back and turn off the download option if you want to.
