Analytics

Back to EchoVideo (Q-Review) User Guides

Introduction

This quick guide focuses on two key types of analytics available in EchoVideo (Q-Review): overall course engagement and individual video insights.

These tools help you understand how students are using recorded materials, identify patterns in engagement, and highlight areas where content may need clarification or emphasis.

Analytics should be used as a guide to support your teaching, rather than a direct measure of learning. Used thoughtfully, they can help you make informed decisions about your teaching approach and content design.

Important to know: If you are a Scheduler or have another role in EchoVideo, you may need to switch roles to view analytics.

To do this, log in to EchoVideo, click your profile icon, and select Change Role.

Change role button highlighted in pop up screen in QMplus

You will see the roles available to you.

Choose role option highlighted

Once you have chosen a role select save.

If analytics are not available in your current role, try switching to the Instructor role. Once you have finished, please remember to switch back to your original role. This ensures you retain access to the features and permissions associated with your usual role.
