Consent for Recording Guest Presenters

Permission must be obtained before recording any guest presenter who is not a member of Queen Mary staff.

Guest presenters are required to complete an EchoVideo (Q-Review) Consent Form . The completed form should be returned to the EchoVideo Bookings Team at qreviewbookings@qmul.ac.uk before the recording can be made available to viewers.

Queen Mary staff do not need to complete a consent form.

If Consent Cannot Be Confirmed in Advance

If you are experiencing difficulties obtaining consent before the event, or expect to confirm consent on the day of the recording, please contact qreviewbookings@qmul.ac.uk as early as possible.

In exceptional circumstances, a recording can still be scheduled. However, it will be made unavailable initially and cannot be viewed by any users until the guest presenter has provided permission for the recording to be released.

Important

Where consent from a guest presenter cannot be obtained, Queen Mary reserves the right to delete the recording without notice and without retaining a backup copy.
