Understanding how the medium of film constructs a narrative from the position of a filmmaker rather than a spectator is essential to developing the skills and knowledge to create stories in film. Each aspect of narration in film is taught on the module and this supports the development of production skills which can then be further developed across the three years of the Film Studies degree programme.
