Dear All

Two years ago i ran a scheme to make a film with the students - we had 6 days to shoot 6 stories - it was an opportunity to provide set experience to our students across all years.

So, It's with great pleasure that we can finally invite you to a special screening of Brighton House.

The film was shot in the summer of 2024 as part of an initiative to provide as many of our students as possible with professional on-set experience. With the generous support of London Higher, we were able to bring in industry professionals while working alongside an incredible student crew—many of whom were stepping onto a film set for the very first time.

The aim was simple: to explore what we could create within a limited timeframe. From this spirit of collaboration and experimentation, Brighton House was born.

The result is a 43-minute ensemble film, weaving together five individual stories. It takes us on a journey through the lives of five women, each undergoing a moment of profound realisation—told with subtlety, warmth, and humour.

The film represents a truly collective achievement.

We would be delighted for you to join us in celebrating the work of everyone involved.

Screening details:
Thursday 16th April
4:00pm

Followed by a short Q&A

We very much hope you can join us, mingle with some of the cast, crew and students who were involved. What can you do in 6 days?

Athena
