Why now is a great time to look for part-time work!
One significant change has been an increase in opportunities within customer service roles across a variety of sectors, with places like supermarkets, pharmacies and warehouses all looking for new staff to meet the recent surge in demand. With essentials flying off the shelves, the major supermarkets are currently searching for 35’000 additional workers, and chemist chain Lloyds Pharmacy has announced they they will be seeking 1’500 workers across the country in the next few days. Although these might not be the areas you wish to work in permanently, customer service roles are great for building transferable skills and gaining valuable experiences.
