1. The initial baby check
Introduction
There are some checks that need to be done when the baby is newborn. These are usually to reassure the mother, but there are some defects that are very important to pick up quickly. These are often serious, and if missed then the baby can get ill quickly.
Of course as a dentist you may get asked about natal teeth, which are a nuisance, and you may even see something as rare as a cleft palate.
