Introduction
this is one of the most rapidly moving surgeries that you will see. Often the operation is planned, but sometimes has to happen as an emergency. Within the next video you will see the common reasons for this.
It is often performed under a spinal anaesthetic, and you may be able to comfort the mother while the midwife and doctors are busy.
