7.1. Change of Programme

Students may be permitted to change programmes in the first two weeks of the academic year.  There may be restrictions as to whether this is permissible if students fail to meet the entry criteria or have failed to undertake core,  compulsory, compulsory elective or guided elective modules.  Postgraduate students are not usually permitted to transfer from a full-time to a part-time or variable mode programme after the end of November. Some changes will continue to be permitted at later points in the academic year, for example where students wish to transfer onto or off of a programme that includes a period in industry/overseas.
