8.2. Key Dates - JANUARY 2026 Programmes

The dates in this table are for all full time and part time programmes.

Study period/week and examination periods are inclusive of the University semester dates. Students are expected to be available in the UK during these periods. If you wish to study outside of the UK then please refer to the 9.6. Short-Term Absence and Authorised Absence

Please note:

*Masters students are expected to work on their dissertation or project throughout the summer – for these students, this period between the end of the university's Semester 3 and their course end date is not a vacation. For masters students, only Christmas (end of the study week in the university's Semester 1 to the beginning of the university's Semester 1 Examination Period) and Easter (end of the university's Semester 2 and the beginning of the university's Semester 3 Study Period) are vacations.
