EECS Student Handbook 2024/25
4. School/Institute Procedures
4.9. EECS Late Policy - EXAMS
The Faculty of Science and Engineering considers submitting work on time to be an essential graduate skill. If students submit an exam late (either through QMPlus or via the School's backup form), a penalty will be applied to the marks awarded for the exam.
- Submissions made up to 10 minutes after the exam window will incur a 10% deduction from the total available marks. For example, a student who scores 65% but submits late will receive a final score of 55%.
- Submissions made more than 10 minutes late will be treated as non-submissions, resulting in a grade of zero.
The submission time will be determined based on either QMPlus or the timestamp on the backup file received.
