The dates for this programme follow the Key Date
Module Selection
On this programme you must select 60 credits from law and 60 credits must be chosen from finance. The final 30 credits should be chosen from the elective modules within the programme - from Law OR finance. For the School of Economics and Finance please see website.
Students selecting these final 30 credits as Law modules must write their dissertation on a Finance focused topic
Students selecting these 30 credits as Economics modules must write their dissertation on a Law focused topic.
Note there are no Economics modules available in C24
It is strongly recommended that you take a module directly related to your proposed dissertation topic area. This will be a useful tool in dissertation support.
Dissertation Requirement
This programme has a 30 credit dissertation requirement.
Other Information
Students may wish to specialise in a pathway, if so then students will be expected to take the compulsory modules as outlined in the Module and Programme Description book.
- Banking and Financial Regulation
- Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Finance Law
Certificate Programme
Student must take 60 credits of taught modules outline as above (no dissertation).
Diploma Programme
Student must take 120 credits of taught modules outline as above (no dissertation).
Communication
Communication relevant to this programme will be posted on the LLM and PG Diploma Noticeboard on QMplus as well as the general PG Law noticeboard.
